1. Introduction

Welcome to Kamalawati Library. By using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Membership Terms

2.1 Eligibility

To become a member, you must:

• Be at least 12 years of age
• Provide valid identification
• Complete the registration process
• Pay the applicable membership fees

2.2 Membership Cards

• Membership cards are non-transferable
• Lost cards must be reported immediately
• Replacement cards incur a fee of ₹100

3. Library Rules

3.1 Borrowing

• Maximum 5 books can be borrowed at once
• Standard loan period is 14 days
• Late returns incur fines of ₹5 per day per item
• Books must be returned in good condition

3.2 Facility Usage

• Study rooms must be booked in advance
• Maintain silence in study areas
• No food or drinks in the library
• Computer usage limited to 2 hours per session

4. Payment Terms

• Membership fees must be paid in advance
• All fines must be cleared before borrowing new items
• No refunds on membership fees
• Payment methods accepted: Cash, Credit Card, UPI

5. Code of Conduct

Members must:

• Respect other library users
• Handle library materials with care
• Follow staff instructions
• Not engage in disruptive behavior
• Not damage library property

6. Termination

The library reserves the right to terminate membership if:

• Terms of service are violated
• Library materials are deliberately damaged
• Fees remain unpaid
• Code of conduct is breached

7. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
